# Breathe First

> Breathe First is a UK specialist myofunctional therapy and oral-function practice. We assess and treat mouth breathing, snoring, tongue tie, disordered swallowing and jaw tension using orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT), Buteyko breathing re-education and specialist speech and language therapy — and we retail the clinical tools used in that work. Founded and led by Emily Kirkcaldy, a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC SL13607, RCSLT) with 20+ years' clinical experience. In-person clinics in Altrincham (Greater Manchester) and the Midlands; therapy delivered online across the UK.

Breathe First Ltd, company no. 16781507. We provide functional therapy and education: we help people build healthier breathing and oral habits. We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication, and nothing on this site is a substitute for individual clinical advice.

Two audiences use this site. **Patients, parents and carers** looking for help with breathing, sleep, speech and oral function. **Clinicians** — dentists, orthodontists, speech and language therapists, myofunctional therapists — looking for training, supervision, clinic partnership or professional-grade tools.
