Review draw terms

Every month we pick one customer who has written a product review and give them that product back. These are the full terms. The short version, and how to enter, is on the review draw page.

1. Who can enter

  • Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.
  • Employees of Breathe First Ltd, their households, and anyone professionally connected with the draw cannot enter.
  • Entry is free. You do not need to buy anything to enter: see section 3.

2. How to enter by reviewing a product

  • Write a review of a product you bought from breathefirst.co.uk, on that product’s page. We send a link when you have had the product a few weeks, or use Write a Review on the product page at any time.
  • The review must be honest, in your own words, and at least 40 words long. We want to know what the product was like to use, what it helped with and what it did not, so the next customer can decide. A one-line “great product” does not enter.
  • Reviews are moderated for language, personal information, relevance and authenticity. We approve reviews for being honest and useful, not for being positive. A critical review enters exactly like a favourable one. We do not edit reviews.
  • When we approve the review, it is entered into the draw for the calendar month in which it was approved, and the product it is about is the prize. We email you to confirm.
  • Each approved review is one entry. Reviews of two different products from one order are two entries, each for its own product. One entry per product per order.
  • Orders that were cancelled, refunded, or sent as replacements, and orders placed by trade accounts, do not enter.
  • Only reviews written on or after 8 September 2026, when the draw opened, enter.

3. Entering without a purchase

No purchase is necessary. To enter free, email a review of at least 40 words of any Breathe First product you own, with your full name and postal address, to [email protected] with the subject “Review draw entry”, before the closing date. One free entry per person per month. A free entry has exactly the same chance of winning as any other entry. If a free entry wins, the prize is the average product value of the entries in that month’s draw, paid by bank transfer, or 150% of that value as store credit.

4. Closing dates and the draw

  • Each draw covers one calendar month. Entries close at 23:59 UK time on the last day of the month. A review approved after that enters the following month.
  • The winner is selected at random from all valid entries, by an automated draw, within the first seven days of the following month. The draw is recorded.
  • We email the winner at the address on their entry within two working days of the draw. The winner must respond within 14 days; if they do not, we draw again from the remaining entries.
  • Prizes are given within 7 days of the winner telling us which prize they want.

5. The prize

One prize per month. The winner chooses one of:

  • The product back: the price they paid for the product their winning review is about, in the order it was bought in, including VAT and any discount applied, excluding delivery, refunded to the payment method used for that order.
  • Store credit with 50% extra: credit on their Breathe First account worth 150% of that product value, valid for twelve months from issue, usable on anything sold on breathefirst.co.uk. Credit cannot be exchanged for cash. Unspent credit carries over between orders until it expires.

There is no cash alternative to the store credit option. The prize is not transferable.

6. Winners and publicity

  • By entering, you agree that if you win we may publish your first name, the product you reviewed and the text of your review on breathefirst.co.uk and in our emails. We will not publish your surname, email, address or order details. If you would rather not be named, tell us when you claim your prize and we will show the win without your name.
  • The surname and county of each winner are available on request for three months after the draw, by emailing [email protected]. If you object to this being shared, tell us when you claim.
  • Reviews that entered the draw carry a label on the product page saying so, because the review was written with the chance of a prize. The label does not depend on the rating given.

7. General

  • We may withhold a prize where we reasonably believe an entry is not genuine, was made in breach of these terms, or where the review was not written by the person who bought the product.
  • One prize per household per month.
  • We may suspend or end the draw at any time by removing this page. Entries already made before that point will still be drawn.
  • Your details are used only to run the draw and contact the winner, under our privacy policy. Free entries by post or email are deleted after the draw unless you win.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
