Product Summary
Myo Munchee Junior
Myo Munchee Junior: for 4 to 8 years
Made for the years when adult teeth start arriving and the jaw is doing most of its growing. Gentle daily chewing builds the lip, cheek and tongue tone that supports nasal breathing, healthy jaw development and a cleaner mouth.
The Science
Why chewing training changes oral health
Most of us underuse the muscles that shape how we breathe, swallow and rest the jaw. Gentle, rhythmic chewing retrains these patterns, strengthening the lips, tongue, cheeks and jaw through simple daily movement.
Stronger oral muscles
Targets lips, cheeks, tongue and jaw at the same time, building the functional tone behind better swallowing, posture and breathing.
Encourages nasal breathing
Closed-lip chewing trains a tongue-up, lips-sealed posture. Over time this repatterns the default from mouth breathing to calm, efficient nasal breathing.
Gum massage and saliva flow
Gentle chewing stimulates gum tissue and promotes natural salivary cleansing, supporting oral hygiene without chemicals.
Reduces grinding and clenching
Builds balanced jaw muscle coordination rather than raw strength, helping ease the tension patterns behind bruxism and TMJ discomfort.
Better sleep quality
Stronger oral muscles during the day mean a more stable airway at night, reducing mouth breathing, snoring intensity and interrupted sleep.
Effortless daily routine
No batteries, no app, no complex setup. Just gentle chewing during a morning routine, a commute or before bed.
Is the Junior the right size?
This listing is the Junior, for 4 to 8 years. Size is the biggest lever on whether the Munchee works, so start with the age guide and confirm with the inter-canine width.
| Size | Age guide | Inter-canine width |
|---|---|---|
| Mini | 18 months to 4 years | Use age guide |
| Junior this size | 4 to 8 years | 30 to 35 mm |
| Tween | 8 to 14 years | 33 to 37 mm |
| Adult | 14 years and over | 35 to 40 mm |
How to measure: take the straight-line distance between the tips of the two upper canine (pointy) teeth.
Fit check: Junior fits an inter-canine width of 30 to 35 mm. If your child measures 33 to 35 mm they sit in the overlap with Tween, so use age as the tie-breaker.
Who the Junior is for
Mouth breathers
Most common
Children who breathe through the mouth by day or sleep with their lips apart. Chewing trains the lips-closed, tongue-up posture that changes it.
Restless sleepers
Sleep
Snoring, tossing, or waking with a dry mouth. Stronger oral muscles support a more stable airway overnight.
Growing jaws
Development
Where a dentist has raised crowding or spacing, chewing supports the jaw growth that makes room for adult teeth.
Tongue-thrust swallow
Function
Low oral muscle tone and a tongue-thrust swallow pattern respond well to daily coordination work.

❓ Junior FAQs
Is the Junior safe for a young child?
Yes, when used as directed. Supervise younger children throughout, and check with your dentist or therapist first if your child has braces, loose teeth or any jaw pain.
My child has wobbly teeth. Can they still use it?
Loose baby teeth are normal at this age and gentle chewing is not usually a problem, but check with your dentist if a tooth is very loose or sore.
Junior or Tween?
Junior covers 4 to 8 years and 30 to 35 mm. Tween covers 8 to 14 years and 33 to 37 mm. In the 33 to 35 mm overlap, go by age.
How long before we notice a difference?
Many parents notice better lip seal, quieter breathing and fresher breath within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent daily use.
